10% of total order or a minimum of $25.00 Embroidery 10% of total order or a minimum of $35.00 Blank Apparel 5% of total order with no minimum charge Screen Printing If you are providing your artwork in a 'pixel' format (JPEG, TIF, PSD) the ideal resolution would be 300 DPI. The absolute minimum acceptable resolution is 130 DPI. We cannot use GIF format or any other web resolution (72 DPI) artwork for screen-printing. If you are not sure if your art work meets these requirements please give us a call and a representative will be more than happy to help you. We also employ a state of the art graphics division that can take your theme or idea and create exactly what we need. For best results with spot color artwork, use 'vector' art formats (AI, FH8, EPS) instead. Acrobat PDF files may be an acceptable format but artwork in a Word Document or Powerpoint file will usually have to be re-created. Embroidery We can often use lower resolution artwork (i.e. 72 DPI) but embroidery does have its limitations on what can be done. Fonts often need to be a bit beefier in order to be legible and colors gradients cannot be used. How should I provide my artwork to you? In order to get started with any order, we need high resolution artwork that is suitable for printing. There are many ways to get your artwork to us and we will try to work with any of them. The ideal method, however, would be to provide us with vector art files (either .eps or .ai format). You can email art to sales@fatmikes.net or send a disk via postal mail to the address below.
14122 Willow Lane Westminster, CA 92683 How do the decoration size and number of colors in my art affect the price? Screen Printing In most cases, the physical size of your artwork does not affect the price at all but the number of colors will bring up the price. More colors means more screens and that increases the setup costs. Embroidery Unit prices are based on the total stitch count so the bigger the artwork and the more colors it has, the higher the price for embroidery. What are your setup charges? Screen Printing
* One screen for every unique color in each print location Embroidery
